Letters from the Lunar Outpost

Every man feels instinctively that all the beautiful sentiments in the world weigh less than a single lovely action.
- James Lowell, American Poet, Critic and Editor (1819-1891)

Mike Cornelison and Fender Jazz BassI’m into programming, my little homespun programs have maybe 1/2 million downloads across the Internet, I dig music and songwriting, especially the lyrical side of it, and I’m pretty well read for a guy who went to music school instead of college.

Right now, what I enjoy more than anything right is writing. I’m a confirmed audiobook addict and I make sure to listen to enough different writers to where I can borrow from many without ever plagiarizing from one. There’s a quote from T.S. Elliot, “Immature poets imitate; mature poets steal; bad poets deface what they take, and good poets make it into something better, or at least something different.” I hope to have left a little of the latter when all is said and done.

So that’s me in a nutshell. Welcome to the blog, hope you find some things to comment on and keep you coming back.
