Letters from the Lunar Outpost

To enjoy the things we ought, and to hate the things we ought, has the greatest bearing on excellence of character.

My blog has become quite prolific in my absence! This is now the tenth post in my series of ghost posts!

Rafalca, The Romneys' Horse at the Olympics

So the media would have you believe that the Romney’s are selfish and out of touch for having had represented America in the Olympics with a dressage horse that costs them $75,000 a year to maintain and keep at competition level.

And employing a groom with a family to support.

And paying for feed that’s sold by someone with a family to support and transported in trucks by someone with a family to support and manufactured in a factory by people with families to support from stuff that’s grown by farmers with families to support.

And having a barn built by construction workers with families to support with materials trucked by drivers with families to support from factories with workers with families to support.

Sounds to me like that one horse has done more to put Americans to work than that horse’s ass in the White House.

One Response to Rafalca (The Romneys’ Horse)

  • And Romney’s campaign is starting to resemble those road apples “Rafalca” is leaving on it’s red carpeted stall. This guy is clueless. Laura Ingram, the darling of the Republican Party thinks the GOP should run someone else !!! When he attempts to act “stronger” he puts his foot in his mouth. But let’s get ready for the Koch Brothers to try and “Swift boat” Obama with limitless ads with their deep pockets.
