As the new year draws near and we get closer and closer to closing the books on the old, a little bit of expectation and drama starts to build in my heart as I wonder, can my Classical Masterpieces for Electric Bass book keep alive it’s string of successes as the top selling book at BassBooks.com?
BassBooks.com started tracking the top sellers of the year back at the end of 2006, and I was proud to see my book at the top of the sales ranking for that year.

When the year end totals of 2007 showed CMEB had topped the best seller list again, I now had Classical Masterpieces for Electric Bass had strung together two consecutive years as the top seller at BassBooks.com. |

As 2008 was drawing to a close, the suspense began building as I wondered if the CMEB would be able to make it three years in a row. When I woke up New Years Day and checked the year end totals – Doh! – CMEB had been unseated, falling to the second most-popular book of that year! |

When 2009 was done, however, all was right with the universe again, as CMEB was back on top of the best seller list. Ahhh . . . |

So what do you think was the first thing I checked when I woke up on New Year’s morning yesterday? You know I went straight to the website to check the totals! The results were posted, and lo and behold, that makes it now four out of five years with CMEB the best selling book at BassBooks.com! |
