So we now know who the scumbags are who perpetrated the bombings at the Boston marathon . . .
Law enforcement officials identified the suspect still on the loose as Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev, 19, of Cambridge, Mass. His brother, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26, was identified as the man killed during an encounter with police after an armed carjacking of a Mercedes SUV in Cambridge.
The brothers’ alleged motive in Monday’s bombings remains unclear, but in the last several months, Tamerlan Tsarnaev had posted videos to YouTube indicating his interest in radical Muslim ideologies.
The family appears to be originally from the southern Russian republic of Chechnya, and two law enforcement officials said there is a “Chechen connection” to the bombings. Chechnya has been racked by years of war between local separatists and Russian forces and extensive organized crime since the Soviet Union dissolved in 1991.

As I woke up to the breaking news this morning, before I heard anything else, as soon as I heard the name “Tsarnaev”, I knew as sure as I was breathing that the Boston bombing had been the work of Chechens.
The latest act of radical Islamic terror in America has come from a Chechnyan region that has been a breeding ground for terror in Russia for many years. Most of us have heard of the the hostage taking at Moscow’s Dubrovka Theater which resulted in over 120 deaths and the Beslan School Massacre where over 350 people, mostly children, were slaughtered, but the list of savagery from the Chechen separatists in Russia doesn’t end there:
- An August 1999 bombing of a shopping arcade and a September 1999 bombing of an apartment building in Moscow that killed sixty-four people.
- A bomb blast that killed at least forty-one people, including seventeen children, during a military parade in the southwestern town of Kaspiisk in May 2002. Russia blamed the attack on Chechen terrorists.
- A December 2002 dual suicide bombing that attacked the headquarters of Chechnya’s Russian-backed government in Grozny. Russian officials claim that international terrorists helped local Chechens mount the assault, which killed eighty-three people.
- A three-day attack on Ingushetia in June 2004, which killed almost one hundred people and injured another 120.
- Street fighting in October 2005 that killed at least eighty-five people. The fighting was in the south Russian city of Nalchik after Chechen rebels assaulted government buildings, telecommunications facilities, and the airport.
- An attack on the Nevsky Express, used by members of the business and political elite, in November 2009 killed twenty-seven people.
- In March 2010, two female suicide bombers detonated bombs in a Moscow metro station located near the headquarters of the security services, killing thirty-nine people. Islamist Chechen rebel leader Doku Umarov claimed responsibility for the bombing; he had also claimed responsibility for the derailment of the Nevsky Express.
- Two days after the metro station bombing in March 2010, two bombs exploded in the town of Kizlyar, in Russia’s North Caucasus, killing at least twelve people.

I can remember my Russian friend Yuri, and every time he would get drunk, he would speak of the Chechens as “monkeys” spitting the words out with a level of contempt I couldn’t comprehend. I would try to reason with him and tell him you can’t paint an entire people with one single broad stroke. Years later, I still believe you can’t hold a whole group of people responsible for the actions of a radical minority, but now I understand much more where the disgust that many Russians hold for Chechens stems from.
So now, the Chechen brand of Muslim terrorism has reared it’s ugly head for the very first time here in America. After the 9/11 attacks, our dear president’s pastor of 20 years, was shouting with glee that America’s “chickens were coming home to roost”, but this time, you can’t even try to blame this this on American policy in the Middle East.
Despite Obama’s tepid response to the Russian invasion of Georgia, for the most part, in the post-Cold War era, the United States continues to act as the counterbalance for freedom against Russia’s attempts to reconquer it’s former empire. Obviously, the blood lust these Chechens have for indiscriminately killing innocent people is a compulsion that far outweighs any geopolitical reality. This is not about politics, this is a case of jihadists looking to kill any infidels from the West they can find.
When Bush spoke to the nation at a joint session of Congress just days after the 9/11 attacks, he said this:
Americans are asking, “Why do they hate us?”
They hate what they see right here in this chamber: a democratically elected government. Their leaders are self-appointed. They hate our freedoms: our freedom of religion, our freedom of speech, our freedom to vote and assemble and disagree with each other.
They want to overthrow existing governments in many Muslim countries such as Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Jordan. They want to drive Israel out of the Middle East. They want to drive Christians and Jews out of vast regions of Asia and Africa.
These terrorists kill not merely to end lives, but to disrupt and end a way of life. With every atrocity, they hope that America grows fearful, retreating from the world and forsaking our friends. They stand against us because we stand in their way.
We’re not deceived by their pretenses to piety.
We have seen their kind before. They’re the heirs of all the murderous ideologies of the 20th century. By sacrificing human life to serve their radical visions, by abandoning every value except the will to power, they follow in the path of fascism, Nazism and totalitarianism. And they will follow that path all the way to where it ends in history’s unmarked grave of discarded lies.

Our current president and his administration are more concerned about acting as apologists for Muslim radicalism than telling the truth the way Bush did, going so far as to cast the Ft. Hood shooting as “workplace violence“, the administration bending over backwards not to mention the words Muslim or Islam a single time in its 86-page report on the shooting, and in the case of the assassinations in Benghazi, even embracing the ridiculous in trying to paint it as a “spontaneous attack” over a virtually unseen YouTube video instead of calling it for what it was: a well-coordinated attack by Muslim extremists.
Right now as I’m watching the news, MSNBC is trying to spin this as some sort of homegrown terrorism because these men lived here for a few years and they’re suggesting maybe it’s just a coincidence the brothers came from the terrorist breeding grounds of Chechnya, invoking Newtown and the possibility both brothers suffered from mental issues.
Our current president will never come out and call it for what it is, but this latest attack shows there was truth in Bush’s words – this was not political and yes, they really do hate us for our freedoms.

Now don’t blame me for reporting this or making the comparison, because judging by the twitter hashtag #TheBible while the show was airing on History Channel last night, at the end of Christ’s forty days in the desert, I was only one among millions who had the exact same thought the moment Satan first appeared – OMG, they cast Barack Obama as Satan!
Now before my liberal friends get to hysterical about any mentions of Satan and Obama, it would be well to remember that there were far more people calling Bush the Antichrist during his presidency than there have been people claiming that Obama’s the Antichrist (despite the fact that Obama’s opposition has a much deeper evangelical base.) Regardless, both comparisons are equally loony.
While Obama may have more of the charisma The Bible describes in the Antichrist, neither president comes anywhere near to being the supremely intelligent and diabolical genius that Satan is in The Bible. The media may have been successful in convincing many Americans that Obama would be the great intellectual president of our times, but reality is, there’s a reason Obama’s kept his college transcripts under lock and key and when you take the man away from his teleprompter and all the softball questions lobbed at him by his adoring media, I would argue Obama’s not even as smart as Bush. You could see this during the debates, both in the Democrat primaries and in the presidential debates, any time Obama was forced away from his scripted answers, he was completely outclassed by his debate opponents in both parties.
So no, while I won’t subscribe to any theory of Obama being the Antichrist, I can tell you this – the Devil does exist, he tries to tempt each and every one of us every day in our lives, and in working through his minions in the American media, the Devil was able to get his candidate into the White House.

I’m away from the Internet and yet here’s my blog, making posts . . . kind of spooky, isn’t it? I call them my “ghost posts.” This is number two.
As I write this, the convention hasn’t even started and yet I have no doubt what the Obama State Media’s game plan is going to be. As Hurricane Isaac heads to New Orleans, the OSM is going to use every chance it gets to remind viewers of Katrina and Bush during the Republican National Convention. As the OSM does their ditry work to smear the GOP, just remind yourself of this:
It is not the Federal Government who evacuates a city with an approaching hurricane, it is the LOCAL GOVERNMENT AND THE MAYOR. Five days they had to run busses and get everyone and their wheelchair bound grandmother out of the low ground and up to the Superdome. FIVE DAYS they had to set up generators at the Superdome, they did none of that, instead, for the few that could make it on their own, the Superdome became a lightless, powerless cesspool of filth.
None of that is on George W. Bush. The local government’s failure to evacuate it’s own citizens is the real tragedy of Katrina, but you’d never know it listening to the Bush-bashing media.

Eight days ago, Charles Krauthammer wrote this in a column:
Obama started his presidency by returning to the British Embassy the bust of Winston Churchill that had graced the Oval Office.
Within hours, White House Communications Director Dan Pfeiffer posted this belligerent reply at the White House Website:
normally, we wouldn’t address a rumor that’s so patently false, but just this morning the Washington Post’s Charles Krauthammer repeated this ridiculous claim in his column .?.?. This is 100% false. The bust [is] still in the White House. In the Residence. Outside the Treaty Room.
Just a few hours later, the British Embassy set the record straight:
“the bust now resides in the British ambassador’s residence in Washington D.C.”
It only took a couple hours for Dan Pfeiffer to leap to accusing Krauthammer of writing something “patently false,” calling it a “ridiculous claim,” and it was only a couple hours later that the British Embassy set the record straight, so how long would it take for Pfeiffer and the Obama White House to man up and admit that the attack on Krauthammer was unwarranted?
Well, three days later, all was silent from the White House even after the Telegraph UK ran the story, “The White House blunders again over the Churchill bust“
As Telegraph readers will recall, one of the earliest actions of the Obama presidency when it came to office in 2009 was to return a bust of Sir Winston Churchill to the British Embassy, an extraordinary move considering the huge admiration for the wartime leader on both sides of the Atlantic. . . when British officials offered to let Mr Obama to hang onto the bust for a further four years, the White House said: “Thanks, but no thanks.” The decision to return the bust naturally sparked outrage at home and abroad, and has caused considerable embarrassment over the years for the Obama administration. This week the White House has stumbled again over the Churchill bust issue . . .
I certainly remember the story of the Obama White House snubbing the Brits and sending the bust of Churchill back, I don’t know how Pfeiffer could be working in that very same White House and somehow have been completely oblivious to that story, but even with the Telegraph there to jog any fuzzy memories, still there was no apology from the White House.
Day five of Bustgate and even after the Telegraph ran this story: “Churchill bust debacle: ‘amateurish’ Obama White House remains firmly in denial over snub to Britain” still the White House remained mum.
Finally today, eight days after insulting Krauthammer and denying the original insult to the Brits, Pfeiffer found some stones in his sack and stepped up to admit he was flat-out wrong in his angry White House blog post attacking Krauthammer.
As incredible as it was to see the White House follow insult after insult after insult here, I was most fascinated by the comments that were being made by the troop of Obama supporters.
You ever see monkeys at a zoo when one monkey starts shrieking and that one monkey gets a couple other monkeys to join in and then the next thing you know, the entire cage full of monkeys is jumping up and shrieking like one mindless, spasmodic organism? That’s what it was like watching the comments on Krauthammer’s article once the White House had posted its reply. All the Obama supporters began jumping up and down, pounding on their keyboards and shrieking right on Pfeiffer’s command.
This one is actually taking a shot at Krauthammer’s tragic accident and the fact that he’s paraplegic:

To those people, facts only matter when the confirm their beliefs. If something conflicts with their beliefs, then to them it can’t be a fact. Unfortunately, their beliefs are formed from Fox News, Limbaugh, Hannity, Beck, etc.
It just wouldn’t be a properly brain dead liberal comment without the obligatory Fox News reference, now would it?

I always knew George W. Bush would be vindicated for liberating over 50 million people in Afghanistan and Iraq, I just never thought the reassessments would start arriving just two years out with some of them coming from the farthest-left corners of the blogosphere.

George W. Bush never believed the racists who said the Arabs didn’t have the temperament for Democracy, that the people of the Middle East were incapable of self-rule, George W. Bush knew that the hearts of all people are alike in yearning for freedom.
When the people of the Middle East join the ranks of the modern world and are given (or take for themselves) the right to choose their leaders, we may not always like the results. In the Palestinian elections of 2006, we saw the “drive Israel into the sea” rhetoric of Hamas taking the majority over the more moderate and rational voices of Fatah, but I am convinced that Democracy has a way of sorting things out. Sooner or later the people will make it clear, they don’t care which party hates the Jews the most, the only thing they care about are the pocket book issues and which party has the better plan for raising their standard of living.
