Believe, if thou wilt, that mountains change their place, but believe not that man changes his nature.
- Mohammed, Arabian Prophet, Founder of Islam (570-632 A.D.)
I asked a friend what could possibly make him so filled with hate for Sarah Palin. Whatever happened to this so-called “liberal tolerance” we always hear about? Can’t he try to be just a little bit tolerant of people with political views different than his own?
What’s wrong with Sarah? She insulted the Jews today when she used that “blood libel” term. She repeatedly is taking advice from Rush Linbaugh, Glen Beck and Hannity, who aren’t the brightest bunch in the media. The jury is in , her time is over. Instead of taking the high road and winning everyone’s approval and stating the obvious, that violence and the mention of guns have no place in politics.
Violence and the mention of guns have no place in politics?
“If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun.” – Barack Obama, June 13, 2008.
You were saying?
No doubt after a little googling to verify Obama did indeed say those words . . .
He was quoting the line spoken by Sean Connery in “The Untouchables”. So he got a little carried away.
For the 500 times since the Arizona tragedy that MSNBC has actively worked to pin the blame on Palin for her website “targeting” candidates and for her using the word “reload,” how many times do you think the propagandists at MSNBC made mention of the Obama quote, “If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun.” I’m guessing somewhere between zero and zero.
See folks, this is the kind of embarrassment that can happen when you get completely sucked into a stark raving partisan channel like MSNBC. You go around condemning Sarah Palin, saying things like “violence and the mention of guns have no place in politics” completely oblivious to the fact that your own beloved president made an even more violent mention of guns just a couple years ago!
